Dr. Metwally

Dr. Moemen Metwally is originally from Windsor, Ontario. He completed his undergraduate studies at University of Windsor and Wayne State University in Detroit. He then pursued his Doctor of

Dental Surgery degree at the University of Pacific in San Francisco, California. Upon graduation, he enrolled in one year hospital residency

in Canton, Ohio with a heavy emphasis on Oral surgery, Implantology, Sedation dentistry and Special needs/Medically compromised patients.

 

Dr. Metwally then moved with his wife Maria

and they crossed over from one border to the next ending up in sunny Laredo, Texas. He joined a large group practice setting where he has done thousands of sedations, implants, and surgical procedures.

 

Besides being in a very busy private practice, Dr. Metwally has a life long passion for learning. His passion and expertise is implant dentistry and

continues to enroll in classes to be the best implant dentist for his patients. He has completed hundreds of hours in advanced training

that expanded his field.

 

Dr. Metwally is a general dentist with his clinical practice being limited to surgery and dental implants. His scope of work is anything from simple single implants to block grafting, full arch rehabilitation, zygomatic implants revision cases, sinus grafting, ridge splits and more.

 

Dr. Metwally is an Associate Fellow with the Academy of Implant Dentistry and a Fellow with

Academy of General Dentistry. He has completed thousands of IV sedation cases and continues to

practice at the highest standards. He continues to lecture and mentor in the field of implant

dentistry and oral surgery in the general practice.

Dr. Metwally is happily married to a pediatric dentist. Together they love traveling the world and enjoying all kinds of ethnic foods. They

have two little boys, Zayd and Kenzy that keep them very busy.
